We have been encountering some technical difficulties with our Contact Forms, so we do apologize for the delay in our responses. We are trying to figure out what the issue is and hope to have it resolved shortly. If you do have questions, please e-mail Daniela at daniela@bradpattison.com and she will direct them accordingly.

So, what's new.. hmmmm.... well, for those of you who may not know, my new book 'Brad Pattison Unleashed' was launched on, April 6th. Question of the Week:

Q: We have a black lab with a newfoundlander. She is probably the best dog we've ever had. We all love her she is great when we open the door she doesn't run out, she doesn't go on furniture, she comes when you call her, and she is the most friendliest dog I’ve ever had or met. But the only thing we would change is that we notice when we walk she pulls a bit ahead and when we get her to stop that she pulls to the side. It’s so hard to walk her even though we love to! My family hopes you can return this email and try to help us with Ashton. Thanks a lot!

A: One thing that needs to be implimented asap would be change of direction quickly so your dog pays special attention to your movement.
Add a few other things such as picking up your pace by 10%. This will probably be met with a little challenge by the dog because you will be demonstrating that you can manage your dogs movement. The dog on the other hand may say no to this and end up pulling more. Accept this as a fun game and this will require you to buckle down and be commited to working hard  and fast with your dog. I always look at this as a game. But a game you must win.
