Shanon's Profile If you could have better would good be good enough?   Watching people struggle with their dogs prompted me to look for something better.  In the city that I live in there isn’t a positive outlet for people to be educated on building that strong bond with their dogs.  I have taken the treat method of training with my dog and found that for us it only worked some of the time and that my dog didn’t respect me at all (he only respected the food). I had watched Brad’s show “At the End of My Leash” and was impressed with the methods that he was teaching.  After attending one of Brad’s seminars I contacted his assistant inquiring about taking an educator course.  A couple months later I was informed that Brad was offering the course.  I jumped at the opportunity.  Being from a small city of fourteen thousand with no training of this type available I see this as a great opportunity to educate and create an incredible bond between dog owner’s and their dogs. Through taking this training I have realized that being educated about myself and my dog has helped me in my personal relationships with people and with dogs.  This has empowered me not take second best.
