She got a pup who at 6 months old was diagnosed with severe hip dysplasia. The vet told her he could do surgery at a cost of $3000 per hip I belive, and she would still walk with a limp her whole life. Mary decided to go with a chiropractor, and drove her 2.5 hours to Calgary two times per week for several months. You would not believe the difference in Maggie though! It was amazing...she could run with the other dogs and walked with just barely a noticeable limp. Before his fall he had a slight limp and has always favored his right back leg then after his accident ( he banged his back geting into my truck and has not been able to walk properly since and its been 3 weeks ) So off we go to spend $300.00 on xrays and then off to spend (not sure how much) on his chiropractor appointments Just hoping he will be a cantidate.   Report to moderator   Logged     | The administrator has disabled public write access. I am not so lucky that my vet is a believer, and since the next one is too far away, I'm out of luck! I know you\'re in BC, but maybe if you emailed her, she might be able to help a bit, or at least let you know what best to look for in a chiropractor. Her name is Dr. Emily Durbin, and she works out of Southridege Veterinary Clinic in Ridgetown.
