I guess the first question would be how old is your puppy. A lot of young puppies don't like walking on a leash, but really, can you blame them?? Its sort of like having a child on a leash, you have to train them to walk. Pups don't naturally grow up walking on leashes everywhere, being controlled on where to walk .
DO NOT LET HER WIN!!! don't pick her up and carry her, especially if its just going out to pee. thats not too much for any puppy to walk im sure, no matter the age, however if your pup is really young and your going for long walks, make sure you think about how much the pup may be able to walk before getting tired out. Im not so sure if she is trying to control the situation or if she is just not used to walking on a leash, but like i said, don't pick her up unless you think its very nessecary. Maybe if you tell us how old and what type of pup she is it would help a bunch of us here on the forums on how much she should be able to walk at whatever age she is.
Training for barking, what all is she barking at? when something comes to the door, or movement outside or?? if you could explain the situation it will help alot too but ill just suggest taking your pup out to different places so she gets used to all the sights, sounds and excitement around her home. I would suggest different parks, out by a childs playground, maybe some stores that lets pets inside, walks by busy roads, basically just your everyday things. This way she won't be afraid of the normal sights, sounds, smells that go with the natural world. But yeah, explain your situation as to what all she barks at and it will help us all understand your situation a whole bunch more.
Hope this helps as "generalized info" to help get your pup on the right start
