For the Raw Pple What's your dog's meat fave? Posted: 4 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 10
Last night, I got some lamb and pork for Bayley so I decided to see which she prefers so I put both in her bowl. Mixed it up and sure enough she took all the lamb out and ate that first, then she kind off played with the pork for a few minutes and kind of gave me the 'do I have to eat this?' look. I need to find a good cheap source of lamb!! I might try chicken and beef combo next but I know the beef will win out unless I give her a chicken breast! I don't think she likes dark meat very much!

Vacation was very nice..weather wasn't great but Bayley didn't care. I think she really liked being out all day, swimming, running, chasing chipmunks etc!

Lucky you with Abby...Bayley has champagne tastes and mom's on barely a beer salary!!! i'm lucky that A&P usually has cheap lamb cuts.

Lindy loves her chicken...though I think chicken liver is her favourite. Maybe because she can slurp it up (I have to cut it into small pieces because this one she doesn't chew at all - she will swallow it whole and has almost choked).

But with chicken, if there is anything else in the bowl, even if it is on top, she may start with the other item, but the second she realizes that there is chicken there, she leaves what she was eating to go for the chicken. In fact I have given her two smaller pieces of left over chicken (from a BBQ - too small and bony for us but the two of them made a perfect meal size for Lindy together). She took the first piece and was eating it and half way through went and took the other piece out and kept going back and forth between the two. Couldn't make up her mind which was the better chicken (though she still let me take both when I stopped by her kennel to make sure it wasn't a food aggression thing).

My funny girl and her chicken.
