Bike attachments for running? Posted: 4 Months, 3 Weeks ago

Hi all! I was wondering if any of you know of any good attachments we can get for dogs and bikes here in Canada? I have used the leash, but it always makes me nervous that she's going to cut into the wheels... She can't pull me over if she runs the other way, but she can cut towards the front wheel easy enough... The bike would be a great way to burn off some of her extra energy. I've seen something called the "Walky Dog" online, but I haven't found anything like it in the stores. Anyone know of anything? Thanks!

No never heard of such a thing , but maybe you could invent something and make millions!! Also check with your by-laws , have heard that some places it is against the law to bike with your dog on a leash!!

I've heard same about bylaws.
I don't think I'd ever want to be attached to Ella on a bike. At least with the leash I could just let it drop. Can you find some off road trails so you don't need one at all?

What about a Springer? I have heard they are awesome but never used one. Been thinking about it though...there's a few other kinds if you look up dog bike attachments. Walky Dog is one kind I believe....I couldn't decide which one sounded best and never got around to ordering one. Did meet one guy who had a Springer for a Brittany Spaniel and said it was awesome! He lost his previous dog while biking just with the leash, he stopped she kept running and got hit by a car
