I loved it ... I felt bad for Brad though ... so obvious to see how frustrated he was ... I would have been pi**ed off big time ... at least they came around!

I really enjoyed the show, like I do all of them. I wish they would show more of the owners doing the training, the corrections at the door and such.

LOVED IT!!!!!!!

It is sooo awesome to see Brad's character develop more and more each season!

I especially appreciated the way he expressed his feelings and thoughts to the family.

It might be a suggestion to put a tag line somewhere that says the time that has passed so as not to mislead viewers into thinking that these changes happen over a very short period of time.

I think that when we are working with our dogs we want instant results; we do live in what I call a 'microwave society'. And, we get discouraged and down when it doesn't seem to be coming along quickly enough. Sometimes I wonder if the show makes it look too easy.

That couple turned it around and put commitment, effort, time and work into the homework Brad gave them and THEN they got results. And, although I have found the techniques he teaches to be INCREDIBLE and effective, it didn't happen in a day or two.

EXCELLENT 1st episode, can't wait for the next!

I just watched the first episode of this season. It was like opening presents at Christmas morning. You count down the days and finally it's here and then it's over so quickly. I wish the show could be an hour long. I would have liked to see more practice between the owners and the dog but I suppose Brads fans will always want more. I really liked his stern but true pep talk that he gave the dog owners specially when he said that the dog was looking at them begging to go out side like his owners got to do all day long. At that moment I looked over at my dogs and felt guilty that they didn't get there walk today. It's a good reminder to us dog owners to not always put our furry friends at the bottom of the list of priorities most of the time or at least in my case. Seven more days until the next episode can't wait!

I agree, i wish we could see more of the people doing the training too, rather than the beginning, and then the dogs better.. It's over too fast! Maybe a hour long show instead!

I agree...hour long shows would be much more helpful to those of us trying to train our dogs!!! Unfortunately it's probably not as effective for SLICE . They have something so fast paced, exciting and Brad definitely brings everything to the table . A half hour slot doesn't slow down, whereas a full hour where your watching owners practice training with their dogs might. I think right now anyone can watch (my friends who don't even own dogs watch it), which is what SLICE is looking for. Too bad I think logically. I really wish we could have a full hour of Brad - the shows are definitely not long enough!

Now if the seasons would get put on DVD with extra bits from each episode, that would be awesome(hint hint for season four, five and six Brad) !!!!

Re:1st show of new season :) Posted: 4 Months, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 17
Thank you for your comments about the first episode for season 3

I am always incredibly baffled by so many of you who think it takes such a long time to fix individual problems. Many people ask how long does an episode take to film..... 2 weeks see them 4 times.

You are all dog owners and if you have trained under me then you know full well you can have some pretty fantastic results. But remember I am working on individual issues. Talking about specific breeds bother's the (*^%( out of me because that is an unfair representation for a breed. Its 10 out of 10 that the owners f()&& up the dog and in act 3 in this episode my director said just do what you do, so in that act I let it out, like I have to many of you who have worked under me. Tracie remember, I harped and harped on you about pointing the finger and we had our own conversation. At that moment you dug your heals in and made a change but until that moment you had not taken it to heart.......... and you are amazed how well your dog is doing...... I laugh because all I did was teach you what your dog needed and YOU have full filled your responsibility like a good dog owner should. That's what makes me proud. Just like in the episode the people finally put some effort into the dog.

I read so much crying and dis pare daily in emails and on my site. I will ask this .......... Why are these people being in consistent? Why do they not commit as they should. The dog was hand picked by the person, the dog not walk up ring the door bell and say "hey can I move in"?

It does take much time to fully train a dog with out a doubt, up to 3 years and some longer its not a flash in the pan of 8 weeks and yes this is the microwave time we live in and a huge cost is paid to these dogs. I thank you for wanting the show to be an hour but lets not make that a main issue or topic. You all live in your own episode of television. Please, please, please people start taking a stand at any cost to help more dogs be in homes where life can be pleasant.

The coming episodes are exciting, emotional and intense, a very big thank you to all the family's that participated.

Cheers, Brad

Oh one other thing, I want to thank all of you for supporting me.

Thank you
