The show was GREAT ! We loved seeing them in action with your street safety class ! That makes me want to get right back out there and do it again with a group!

Thanks Brad for reminding us all that, although some changes in our dog's behaviour can be rather quick, it takes months or years to totally train a dog!

Brad - Keymo says "thank you for understanding me!"

It took me a while to figure out what time the show was on last night ( had a DUH moment or 5! ) and then had to pick between the 2 shows I was waiting for . Brad won out because I can catch the other show on re-run but doggie training is NOW!!

It was interesting to see part of a street safety training and that Brad takes clients in real life situations to train. I know that it says he trains outside but I would never have thought that training would take place like that. It is way better than being told in a park/classroom this is what you should be doing, you get to actually DO IT!

After seeing last nights show I know I need to re-read the book and choose to fully get on-board and stop being half-hearted about or walk away now and watch my dog suffer the consequences. Yep thinking I need to quit being a whiner and get my butt in gear to have the best dog ever!

Thanks Brad for opening my eyes and Jasper says woof lick!
.....Off to kick Jasper off dads chair because I'm pretty sure thats where she is at!!

I loved the new show!!! I always find it kind of funny though, when some families go to the trouble of applying to be on the show, and then don\'t put the effort forward, at least not at first! I\'m glad this couple came around to have success with that wonderful little dog!

On another note...it looks like At the End of My Leash may be going up against House!! That\'s going to be a tough one!! Brad Pattison, or Hugh Laurie...

That new episode was like a breath of fresh air. Almost like a brand spanking new pair of shoes. It got us pumped up to keep going !!!

This AM we took the dogs out for the normal morning pee walk - but we mixed it up. We ran around trees, phone poles and fences! The puppies were surprised and had a really fun time!

THANKS BRAD AND THE WHOLE A.T.E.O.M.L. CREW!!!!

Yeah I was surprised to just luck out and catch the new episode. Will have to set my Tivo up to catch em all.
Dogs offer so much if you give your time to them in a productive way they always give so much more then they take. Every 30 min show enforces and proves that concept over and over!

It would be great to have a show dedicated to where are they now...how some of the past dogs/families are doing ....life after the show.

Oh and one more thing I LOVED about last night's episode...

I think the show really represented something I sadly see repeated in too many families:
-people get a pup
-they fall in love with the pup
-they spoil the pup
-they end up with a bratty pup/dog
-they are in a terrible, emotional delemna about what to do with the dog (usually because kids are coming)
-they dispose of the dog

Brad put it in no uncertain terms to this and all families --

The message: HEY, YOU chose this dog. You have a responsibility. Dogs are not disposable. You have the power to change this situation.

BRAVO! Perfect choice for a 1st episode of the new season.

Lynda

Great Episode!! Hopefully it hits home with some/most dog owners who give up or dont give 100% to their dogs!! It was a great example of what happens when you commit to your dog and what happens when you dont put out your best effort!

Cant wait for more episodes!! Keep up the great work Brad!

Hey Brad, I just wanted to give a : to the production team too. The editing was really great! They did a fantastic job of adding the drama as well as capturing your emotions. Not to mention capturing the energy involved in your SST classes. Also, A HUGE to the writing team, I thought the bit about having the kid acting out was SUCH an eye opener for them. So many people see their family as human children and pets. We need to realize that both take the same discipline, consistancy, dedication and love to be the best they can be as adults in life.

Personally I HATE when I talk about my training classes or going out with them on my own or whatever and people look at me like I\'m crazy. The look & comments I get is \"it\'s a DOG!, what are you doing expending so much time and energy on them?!\"

I particularly connected to last nights episode because it said just what I needed to hear at the time. There are lots of times when I\'m emotionally spent and it\'s tough when everyone around you doesn\'t understand. I was lucky enough to meet some amazing friends and support systems through Brad\'s classes that help me but last nights show proved how difficult it really is. Having the group around you like they did downtown brings out such enthusiasm but it\'s hard to keep that up by yourself at home in the beginning.

Looking forward to many more Brad. Thanks!
