I remember watching that episode with Yelid and Teya and recognizing the breed, or possibly it was mentioned. If they are pure it was a rare breed or some sort of husky cross. I tried to find photos but couldn't find any. I hope that he spoke to them about breeding the dogs...so many people don't realize how much work it is and just want to make money.

I loved the episode with the lady with Golden who was trying to breed the dog and Brad took her to the vet clinic and said he was going to take the dog in to be spayed right then and there. It was great made her realize that she couldn't even handle the one dog, how is she going to care for 5-10 puppies? I don't think she ended up spaying her right then but hopefully made her think.

LOL.. I am pulling my hair out as we speek... Yes I get a kick out of people who think its a walk in the park... Or a quick money fix or that I am simply just crazy... Who knows?... But the average breeding years for a female is only 4 to 5 years...Plus you skip a year in between.. and there isn any garnutee that it will take plus all the medical bills emgernancy phone calls.. unexpected problems..the out fall of all such problems.. the stress..the finding of homes for all puppies .. Making sure that you are comfortable with those decisions.. The responsibilty of contributing to possibly of over population..the health of all puppies and adults... The stinky smell of pee and poo in your house for about 9 weeks...The noise factor..oh yes they found their voices.. those cute little squeeks have turned in to barking at all hours one has even from his howling voice!!!Testings and such... Having a safe zone in which your finances can take a hit if a .. Oh I dont know a ...3000.00 emergnancy c section may as raise.. SO YEah I CoMPleteLy ThinkS That ANyOne Wants To dO thIs For FUn or Just BECauSE is NuTts!!!! ...

They're just totally ignorant....I had an oops litter that was purebred. My dogs were intact because I was showing them. Maui was in season and tried to keep her separated but the male got her through a wire kennel. We had 7 puppies but 3 were still born and one dies quite young which was very difficult. It was tough on Maui too so she got spayed as soon as she could. I almost lost her and it wasn't worth it. It was so expensive for the vet bills and the food and everything, and hard to find good homes for the pups even with only three of them. And oh boy so much work! I agree people who think it is fun are mental and very ignorant, and you will only make money if you don't take very good care of mom and pups!

But, the puppy breath! I love the smell!

The over population thing is a big reason why I won't go into that line of WORK!

Here here! Wish there were more knowlesgeable responsible breeders out there. Too many puppy mills and backyard breeders.

I am soooooooooooo opposed to not spaying and neutering. I've never had a dog (I'm on my 7th) that wasn't spayed or neutered at 6 months of age. it enrages me when people don't do that. I even know one woman who had 2 Jack Russel terriers, brother and sister, who mamaged to have pups. that's about as bad as it can get.
backyard breeders also make me furious. I know someone with a "golden doodle", she's 2, has had to training, socialization, and, of course, she isn't spayed. she's absolutely wild. they don't even walk her. I think Brad would not take them on as clients, because they wouldn't do the work. I've offered, more than once, just to walk her (they don't), and they always say "no". too bad, because she'd be better off with me than she is with them. the guy told me that they plan to breed her when she's 5. I wanted to kick him.
why are people so irresponsible? breeding is best left to professionals who know what they are doing, and breed only top quality dogs. ALL pets should be required by law to be spayed or neutered.
don't get me started on pet shops and puppy mills. I can go on for hours.
that's my opinion.
