Don't hesitate, go to a Seminar Posted: 9 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Hey all, my name is Graham from vancouver. This is my first time posting but I've been using Brad's methods for the last 7 months with my 10 month old doberman Toby. I just want to throw in my two cents here and say that anyone who's even considering going to a Seminar in their area, follow the wise words of Nike and JUST DO IT!

In June of last year, about 3-4 weeks after getting Toby home from my breeder, I was fortunate enough to get in touch with Brad and found out he was putting on a seminar here in vancouver. I have to say it was the best money I have ever spent. You get knowledge. You gain confidence. And you get to ask the questions that have stumped you in your training. My Toby has come SO far from the day we had our seminar. It opened up a world for our dog that we never thought possible. A regular morning walk is now an adventure. Every success we've had with Toby is a direct result of our time with Brad and the information we've taken from Synergy.

Maybe the most important thing that we took from the seminar though was our ability to problem solve. You gain the tools to work through the problems that have come up since the seminar.

I'm really looking forward to sharing experiences and using all of you as another valuable resource in my own training.

I agree OhToby. Watching and learning from Brad's show is one thing but attending one of his seminars is a whole new ball game. I was lucky enough to attend one of Brad's outdoor seminars in Calgary with my pup Chevy, who at the time was four months. I never realized how stubborn he was until we went to the seminar. Chevy stood out like a sore thumb when he decided that he wasn't going to sit for anyone. There I am holding his leash straight up with him dangling there with his front paws tucked under him as if to say " Hey, I can hang here all day but I'm not going to sit." I eventually had to use two arms to hold the leash because one couldn't hold it alone anymore. Finally, Chevy sat. If this had happened at home, I would have given up. Because Brad was there and told me to be persistant and to not let Chevy win, I had the assurance that I was doing something right. This was only one of Chevy's issues that we've had to work on. Two months later, Chevy is doing awesome. Sitting? Not a problem. I can't even imagine how Chevy would be today if we didn't have Brad's help. Even though these upcoming seminars are people only, YOU MUST GO! The amount of knowledge you'll gain is priceless!

Are the seminars going to be cancelled if not enough tickets are sold?

Hi Luka,

So far sales are a little slower then we thought they would be. But they are going good. If everyone could help us market the seminars we should be good. So... heres a couple of things you can do to help.

1) On Facebook (if your on it) search for Brad Pattision and you should find his fan page, attend the event that your are going to (so it shows up on your FB page)
2) Print out the posters and put them up in your office, dog park, pet store (if they allow it).
3) Email the posters out (do the jpg one as it is smaller)
4) Tell your friends and family!!!
5) Post on other forums and chat channels!

Hope everyone can help!!!!

-Scott

I'm still trying to figure out a way to get to the Toronto seminar! I'm too chicken drive to Toronto (the 401 scares the crap outta me!!), and the trains leave too late in the morning to get to the seminar on time, so I would have to stay overnight. Maybe I could convince my husband that it could be my birthday and Christmas presents for the next 5 years!!

I so want to go!!!

I was planning on taking the trains down to T.O and then the subway from Union station. I believe its close to the Royal Ontario Museum.

What do you mean by the trains leaving late? What line are you taking? I better check out the schedule to see if the trains will leave late here. I never thought of that.

I'd have to leave from Chatham, and the earliest train is around 6:50, so it doesn't get to T.O. until after 10.

ummmmm Scott those posters for Edmonton, have the Edmonton date and place but say it's for the Vancouver seminars so before I print them off you might want to change that!!!! But since I live on the military base here in Ed I'll put one up in the family resource center
