I posted on a forum I belong to for local mommies - there are quite a few dog owners and if it wasn't for some of them I never would have heard of the show. I have sent the word out on my Facebook too!

I am still feeling very envious about all you people who live in the "big" cities to get the seminars. so to all of you!!! I will go take my time out now in the corner.......and hopefully one day Northern Ontario will be graced with Brad's knowledge.

It's ok Zoebelle, one day you will get to see him. Maybe if he ever does a summer one, you can come down for that. I am sure Spencer & Sydney would love to meet Zoe.

I just wanted to add that I have also e-mailed our local radio stations. I don't know what else I can do to get the word out there.

I was thinking of calling the radio stations tomorrow.. my friend also works at CTV and has a psycho hoover vacuum beagle so I am trying to convince him to come! I think he could learn to control his poochy instead of saying "hes a hound!! lol

So I am hoping to get a mention on CTV sometime soon.. if I can pull some strings! Also my brother is going to pass flyers around at the January 31st Senator Game.. He thinks I am crazy, but I will make him!!!!

Let's go Ottawa!! Let's get those tickets sold out!

ooh, great idea about the Sens game. Let me know if you need help. That just gave me another idea, maybe I will contact the A-channel. They had my friend's dog on last week (he was lost and the girl from there picked him up) and they all seemed like animal lovers.....off to send another e-mail.

I've justed posted about the seminars on Dogster.com! Hopefully that will help, too.

This is a post from a very sad puppy mommy.... I.... I.... I... *sniff* I don't think I can go to the Seminar (in Ottawa)!! *crying loudly* I can't afford it!!!

I hadn't realized the tickets would be $100 each... and I'm not going without my hubby because he will need to hear this stuff from Brad to jump in with me; so far he's not liking the umbilicle (especially with the corrections I have to do when Sasha pulls constantly during our walks).

I just spent $100 on the book, the collar and the leash and now to have to dish out another $200.... I just can't afford it. We became really tight after we bought our house and just buying the book and training tools was putting me over... I just don't know what I'm going to do... I looked at everything I could, crunched all the numbers I could crunch... but if it's between going to the seminar and having groceries for the next few weeks I'm afraid it'll have to be groceries...

This is the most depressing moment I've felt in a long time.... Because I know chances are Brad won't be coming back to Ottawa for a very long time... but I just don't kow what else to do... *sniff sniff*

From one Melanie to another.. I feel your pain!!
I live on my own (with my 19 year old brother, but he isnt much help with.. well.. anything lol.. then again... hes a boy.. and 19.. !!) and work full time and have many many (argh!!) bills to pay and I can appreciate a budget that is tight at the best of times.

I am going to seminar, maybe (if you cant end up going) we could meet afterwards and go over notes and the information I got? I really really hope you can come, then maybe if you tag team your husband with all this information and knowlegde he will jump on board? Maybe if he hears it from more then one person it would help? At least this way you could come to seminar ? (just a suggestion, worth a try!)

If not I would be more then happy to set up a play date for the doggies and go over all the information, and maybe try to organize joint training sessions to practice umbilicle work?

Hopefully you can come up with an arrangement to come! If not we will certainly try to make the best of it for you!!!
