I just want to start off by thanking Pammi & Shantel for the great lessons they taught at the Mill Creek Ravine this weekend. My hubby and I have noticed a change in the dogs since we came home. A lot of the time now our leashes are not pulled tight they are loose, they are looking and responding well with the unbillical training. My hubby was a non believer, but now that he can see how the dogs are he is doing more of the training. I have started to separate them in some training where Scott keeps one at the house and I go out to the park or vise versa. I hope he doesn't get lazy and give up though. I believe this will help us a lot. Thank you for the encouragement and training.

I have been working with the dogs a lot more than my hubby since we came home. One day I took Barra on her own and we went to a local park and climbed tables and the playground equipment and when she sees a tree or a post on her side she duckes in beside me. Last night I had the two of them together on the umilical and went for a jog in our area and I had to keep keep pulling the leash up so that is a good sign. They are both watching very closely to what I am doing or about to do. Tonight it will be Satin's turn to go with me to a park and we will work on some things. I hope Scott steps up his training. He wanted to give the girls a treat for being good but he couldn't find the treats. I think I will hold off on buying any till he understands he is going to set back any work we have done.
Thanks again for the training. I hope to be able to attend a session again some time in the future.

Yes, you both need to do the work. It can't be just you, or just him, you need to come together on it.
As for the treats, throw them out! That way you can be sure they won't get any at all. It's funny that Scott said you wouldn't keep up the training when he's the one trying to set it back. You need to persevere.
