I'd like to meet the superhuman who has taught its cats to stay off of anything!!!

Glad you found a place and ya, a single person on that much money, even with how expensive TO is, you'll be fine.

You need to make this break. If they aren't paying for anything now then they will lose the place entirely very soon and won't be able to afford a pet either.
Some people never change. At least not in this one life time. All you can do is love them for their good aspects and let go of the bad stuff. It's not your responsibility. You can only be responsible for you and your animals. And that is my Dr. Phil comment for the day.

Take care. You are strong and smart and capable.
Did Guardian come home yet?

Guardian is with me now. I love this dog and want so desperately for him to be trained. I talked to my mother this morning and she was so upset not seeing him. Too bad, he is staying with me because she is not on board with the training.

Here Here we Mike and I were talking about your situation this morning and said basically the same thing (although we do not live with my mom we do spend some weekends there and she dog sits Rowdie when we go out for the night) if my mom wasnt on board and Rowdie got hurt we just wouldnt trust her with Rowdie!!! Its tough but maybe not seeing him will help her come on board!!! Hope he is doing good
