Can't say for sure, but I give Duke an egg 2 or 3 times a week. I've read some people that give them daily. Give them whole, shell on, it's fun to watch.
Dukesdad I was told today by someone who owns 3 beagles that he feeds his dogs eggs tame the hound smell. Do you feed eggs for same reason or just with the diet of raw. And you don't have to cook them do you?
I think it would be okay for a 7 month old. Debi, no you don\'t have to cook them. and yes its definately fun to watch. We aren\'t on the \"raw train\" yet, but I have been giving jazzy an egg a week for the last little bit. it seems to amuse her more then she enjoys to eat it some days.
p.s. and i definately think i have been watching too much so you think you can dance.. all like mary murphy with the hot tamale train, but its the raw train and the brad train.. lol
Scout6 We need all the fun we can get --so Kobe gets eggs. With all the dogs I have had-not once did I feed an egg. In a few movies they portrayed dogs that ate eggs as bad dogs and I supposed that influenced me. I watched all dog films. still do! Brad train
So funny to watch! My 5 month old puppy thought it was a ball at first and lost interest when I didn't "play" with her. I kept putting it in her bowl and she'd just look at me like, "What is so interesting about this ball that you need to keep giving it to me?". I had to crack the top for her to realize that it was food. She gets it now. I did find that giving her too many gave her a bit of the runs so I will only be giving her one or two a week at most.
