I wanted to switch my puppy onto Orijen, because it is grain free, however was warned that the higher protein levels would be difficult for my puppy to digest and likely result in a lot of runny stools. My breeder warned me about high protein levels for my breed as it can result in some funny growing issues. Not sure if this would be the same for you or not. Instead I went with Innova, and so far things have been good. I would agree and recommend cutting back on the food and adding your own raw filler... ie green beans, carrots, cooked wholegrain rice. Talk to your vet though, and see what they say first.

Hi Katz
Since I changed to Acana the runny poop has been solid. She has also gained weight, loves the food and I'm happy picking up solid as oppose to runny off the lawn. I found that the topic of food is all over the place. As long as it's healthy as natural as possible and she eats it, I'm OK with it.
Thanks for the info.
