Wendy,
I\\\'ll make you a deal ... You help me figure out how to quilt (I checked out your profile to find an email address and saw that ... I\\\'ve always wanted to do it, and just get too fed up with the patterns) and I\\\'ll teach you how to train Cocoa ... I won\\\'t bring Abby, it\\\'ll be too much of a distraction!
I\\\'m home all weekend ... and have NOTHING planned ...
My email address is on my profile ... send me an email, and I\'ll give you my phone number!
August 24th, Sunday looks like the next playdate! I will be there very early, something in the tune of 7am to recieve a dog for overnight care. I'm wondering if anyone/everyone is still thinking we could have a field trip of sorts, either a group walk through the path or Bruce Pit. I do have a question, if we go to Bruce Pit would you have your dog off leash or not?
While I personally can't stand either Conroy or Bruce pit, I would still go if there are enough of us ... I'm not afraid - Abby can certainly defend herself if needed, I just get tired of dealing with idiots and their dogs (Not that Abby's perfect, but you know what I mean)
7 am is freaking early people!!! It's sunday!!! We're supposed to be able to sleep in a little bit ... at least til 7 LOL
I'd have Abby off leash b/c I don't have to worry about her taking off and her recall is fine ...
Sunday the 24th is fine. If we'd go to Bruce or Conroy Pit, I'd suggest meeting there to start. Yes, I agree, 7am is too early (as it takes us 45min-1hr to get to either location), but 8-8:30 start would be ok. We'd let Keymo off leash, he's good at the parks, but there are paths at Bruce Pit where dogs HAVE to be on lash, so we could always leash everyone up and venture down those paths as well.
The bigger our pack is, and if we walk as a group, there shouldn't be any doggie issues. We'd look pretty impressive as the largest group of dogs I've ever seen walking together (with owners) is 3 dogs!
