Can someone recommend a good TRAINER for Edmonton Posted: 4 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 0
Hi there
As it turns out I have a herniated disc in my back and am having some training issues for both dogs. I need some one on one. I would really appreciate help where ever I can get it.
Thanks
Marty

Aren't there some CETs in Edmonton? Try contacting Scott directly? Hope it heals up quickly!

I trained at a place in Stony Plain, no treat training and I no they do one on one sessions also! E&E Kennels is the name! I have had GREAT results with Dino. Look them up on the web.Not sure of the exact site but I no there is one! Goodluck and make it fun.

Thanks Dino
I used them about 5 years ago.. The kennels were very clean. I think the trainer/owner is Dave. They are 5 min away,,,Parkland was a great place until there was ownership change a few years back

Scout6,,,who is Scott?
Thanks

Yes , Dave is the owner , they have 3 trainers there, The best part is they follow most of Brads ways,no treats is the best part!! Lots of PRAISE and very calm and relaxed place to train. My sister-in-law and I did go to Parklnd to watch there training, WOW everything the dog did he got a treat!!! And the trainers supply them too!!!! But I no they are popular with lots of people around here! I guess if thats how you want your dog trained then so be it, definatly not for us! Good luck maybe I will see you a E&E, we are going back to classes in Oct. it keeps Dino socialized and makes me keep working with him , we passed our last obedience classes with 185points out of 200 Not good enough we want 200! His recall to sit in front of me was sideways and his heel to finish was slow cause he had to sniff the teater behind me! But thats minor to me, I really just like the people and like I said the socilizing my dog with different dogs and owners.

You hit it on the head with the treats,,,,,,,wish my boss would give me treats whenever I preformed on command:laugh
It's the socialization for both dogs I need help with. The 2 get along very well,,,,,long story short, the pug doesn't know how to play without getting real frustrated. He is a real good boy that tries hard,,,,The pup is a pup (add) loves to watch the leaves fall and ants crawl.
The pug was spoiled,,,,the key word was,,,that's a long story to. Maybe I'll give E&E a call.
I was thinking of taking them to Perfect Kennel by Devon for training,,,Steve is a good guy. He use to work with Sue when she owned Parkland.
Thanks
Marty
