Oh boy - Am I GLAD to be over THAT phase!
Your pup is getting used to finding out how strong, etc her teeth and jaws are.
Puppies do this to each other when they play, that's why it's important NOT to feel bad when pups play together, get rough and one sqeels in pain. They are learning about teeth and biting.
Which is why it's important to make your puppy understand that it HURTS when he bites you.
One thing - a BITE is when a dog draws blood
Mostly what our pupies do is teeth, and mouth and nip.
Use "my puppy nips me" instead.
Anyhow . . . it STILL hurts!
My dog used to try and take us down like a tiger hunting a gazelle! He'd run after us, jump and chomp on our calves or ankles
Yes, try yelling (loudly, sharply and fast) OUCH !
That should get her attention. Then say "no biting"
You, and everyone in your family have to do this every time in order for her to get the message.
With some dogs it works with others, not so much.
With our dog, it made him chomp a little harder. I think he liked getting the reaction out of us .

Anytime he'd nip, we'd say "no biting" and distract him with a toy, or something.
If he did it once, we'd scold him.
If he did it again, we'd put him in a time out.
We did it even when we were sitting calmly just petting him and he'd put his mouth on our hands.
We STILL do that now.
With some pups you need to do what another puppy would do. You can use your hand (pretend you're making fun of someone that talks alot, for the hand movement) and "pinch" just behind the neck. This is what her mom would do. Or you could pich her ear. Sounds nasty, but it's what the parent or sibling or another dog would do to correct the behaviour
You'll be happy when this phase is over. I had 1 pair a track pants that took huge abuse from our puppy!
