Well I am so amazed at my progress with Heidi[10mth old puppy],I began with the new techniques of training her watching Brads show,I have the martingale and leash, which I began using since Monday! This is a new experience for me training my pup. Im happy to say shes doing very well indeed.At first efforts she just sat down and wouldn't budge,but with a gentle tug on the leash, she was up again,next efforts decided to lay down, she tried every trick in the doggy book. Next day was even better progress, i did the sudden stop n turn,I praised her to the high heavens,I sat to relax watching television.Your gonna love this one! she sat in front of me with a little woof, and turning her head to look at the leash, told me she was ready to train again!!! Amazing or what? Indoor training is what i do here, due to the bad weather icey sidewalks etc!
Heidi is a smart pup,she was house trained in aprox 2 mths,i timed every 30 mins, to put her outdoors to do her thing.

Update on my progress- slow but sure at the moment here,but my newest thing to report is, that Heidi now sits without me snapping my fingers, or saying the word sit,as soon as i stop she sits immediatly.I don't have to pull up on the martingale colar anymore.
