Carlos and I LOVED it!! I absolutely love how Brad was honest, up front, and didn't try to sugar coat anything with the ower. He told them straight up that Everest's aggressions were manageable, but not by them. It makes me wonder if another trainer would have made them think Everest was fine, and not assessed it properly. Kudos to you Brad!

Imagine if they treat trained that dog!! YIKES!!

This was my favorite episode so far. How many people would have liked to have been the one doing the pinning? Did you see Brad had all 4 of the dog paws off the ground....and this wasn't a small dog!!!
I hope everyone sees why it is sooooo important to have a good breeder!
I also liked how it actually showed how Brad didn't want to do this (from the tears in his eyes when he was getting in his truck to take the dog to the pound) but he knew what had to be done. Way to go Brad!!

I was truly impressed with how well Brad acted with Everest, and letting the dog know that Brad was the Alpha there.I had tears in my eyes seeing the family say farewell to their pet, as he was loaded into the truck.

That espisode was SO dramatic and a little bit of a reality check as well. I'm the one who posted the question on pinning coincidentally just yesterday! Then, I watched the episode and was actually extremely tense watching Brad with that big dog trying to attack him! It made for some great T.V. and had some VALUABLE lessons in it for those of us training pups.

I also started to cry when I saw the dog being taken away and the mom and daughter started to cry. I've had to give up a dog before and it literally tore me up for months afterwards. So, it hit a nerve. Personally, I for one vowed that I would never do that again. Fortunately, I'm now in a position to do whatever it takes with my dogs to make sure they have a home forever (no small children....support in their care) but I completely felt for that family and understood what that mother must have been going through.

Really great espisode!

I was hoping there would be some comments about last night's show. I already had a tremendous amount of respect for Brad, but it increased after watching this episode. It is refreshing to see a reality show that is actually real, and not have someone who can come in and can solve every problem with every family and every dog.

I was wondering though, what happened to Everest?

Thank you, I hope Everest was able to find the right home and get proper training.

This season is definitely showing a better side of Brad. I admire his honesty and being upfront. Honestly, when I first started watching (last season), as much as I liked his training techniques, he would have had me in tears within seconds because he was too blunt, almost rude (sorry Brad!). He still gets his point across now and sticks to his guns, which I respect. But, I'm glad he isn't being shown as a "bully" anymore.

That was an intense episode. I thought that huge dog was going to bit for sure. Watching Brad's skills is amazing! I'm just wondering why they didn't get rid of the dog sooner since he did bit the kids more then once. Isn't common sense to get rid of dog the first time he bits a child in the home?
