Getting to know Brad and Cesar's techniques, I see the differences now. They aren't really that much alike... have seen Cesar use treats!
I know this is going to sound different, but here is my opinion of Cesar: he has changed! And not for the good. Season 1 of "The Dog Whisperer" was truly the best. His show has now gone to crap. I think there is a reason behind this; he has been sued and has numerous fines and hence I think this is why he is now leaning towards food and clickers-it keeps him out of trouble! If you ever read his book, "Cesar's Way" it talks about the use of food for training and how it is not right because dogs are animals and would never use food with each other. However at the very end of the book he does give credit to treat training

, which I think has much to do with the big business backing him and little to do with his own personal opinion. He even talks about the use of food and clickers...

I personally think he has alterior motives for his new techniques. HSUS and a lot of other people were on his back and some people even wanted him deported from the US (he is an illegal immigrant from Mexico). Now he is paying huge fines and lots of legal fees.
Hence why I like Brad's show much more, Brad is more transparent. He does not have big business backing him that is going to influence how he works.
On another note I saw the show last night, and man did that couple ever have a ton of dog beds!
When Guardian and Mr. President (cat) were puppy and kitten I got them 1 bed each. They did not appreciate their beds! They would often sleep on the cold hard floor. Guardian chewed up his bed and Mr. President scratched up his. They were both no good any more so I had to toss them. I am not going to buy beds for them again!!
