Hello!
I have just stumbled on this website and forum after watching his show for a long time. I guess it's just fitting that this be my first post!

My name is Tara and I live with my husband and 2 dogs & 2 cats in Calgary. I have a 5yr old Boxer X named Diesel - I love him but he's a challenge and the reason why I'm here. I hope to get some help from Brad and maybe take a training course. I also have a 4yr old Shepherd X named Tikka - she's pretty much the perfect dog. And then we have 7yr old cats Milo & Shadow. They're brothers we got from the SPCA.

I have always had dogs and cats but it wasn't until I was on my own that I realized that they don't just come well behaved. It's a struggle sometimes and a lot of work. We got our first dog, Nitro (Australian Shepherd) before we were married but unfortunately things did not go well at all. It was a very hard time in our lives and a huge struggle and things did not turn out the way we wanted. It still makes me sad because even after everything that happened we still loved him...

Anyways I'm here to try and get some valuable information and tips so we can continue to enjoy our relationship with our dogs.

Hi everyone;

My name is Pat (as in Patricia) and in 2-3 months from now, I will have my baby beagle! I've been watching the website for months now and have been posting a few questions and replies here and there - it's been a great help.

I've had a beagle before, so know(s) (nose) what I'm getting into - all nose, no brain

I lost my first dog ever (also a beagle) in a very nasty relationship breakdown 2 years ago and decided in January this year, it was time for a 4-legged friend in my life. Since no 2-legged men have been around recently...... the pup will be a wonderful addition.

Today, I was at the Pet Expo in Calgary, and have at least 5 very good, Canadian, no corn or wheat puppy food samples. I'm not too happy with what my breeder feeds the mums, so I plan to bet my girl off to the best start I can, nutritionally. Thee was so much information there - it was a great source.

My challenge will be the travelling part of my job, which can take me away from Calgary almost 100 days in the year. I'm looking to find some who dog sits IN THEIR HOME. I hate taking dogs to kennels - they are psychologically damaging IMHO. So, if anyone knows someone who is a reliable dog sitter and understands beagles - let me know

I live in Calgary, near Canada Olympic Park, and work from a home office.

And - I'm still debating on names - but right now, Daisy (from Snoopy's origins -the Daisy Hill Puppy Farm) or Marbles (one of Snoopy's litter mates) are high on the list.

Dino and I are currently in intermetiate obedience and in agility and loving it ! Cuda just guards my house we go out in the yard for short walks. He is over weight and getting old. He is on low energy dog food for over weight dogs and hasn't lost a pound. So he only likes 20 min walks about 3 times a day! Which is great bonding time for just the two of us, he is the family dog and loves everyone and everything.
Im loolking forward to reading and learning more from all of you dog people out there!

Hi PMcDonald:
We usually meet at Carrie's house which is in lower Dundas, near the CDN TIRE around 1:00 p.m.
She likes have all the dogs get aquainted prior to the walk. And might I add she's a great girl.
Don't know how to private message anymore, but if you're interested I'll forward my e-mail to you.

Regards,

Donna

I can't believe I haven't thought to look up this website until now! I love watching "At the end of my leash" and after an episode tonight, I found this place.
Happy to be here!
My name is Matt, I live in downtown Toronto with my dog Molly, a year old Jack Russell/Pug mix and my two cats.
Looking forward to becoming a "member in good standing" here!

Hi I 'm Paul., I live in God's county.... Fernie British Columbia
I have a 3 year old very social Lab. He trains well and I am looking for some pointers.
And it appears I not only need pointers with training tips, but this website as well. I posted a question, it was there, 1 person replied and when I went to see the reply, there was nothing there. I left that spot, went back and my question is now gone! I know there was nothing wrong with the question.... but what happened????
Thanks, and I look forward to using the site.
