Becka's Profile My entire life has involved and been dedicated to animals for as long as I can remember. From walking the neighborhood dogs after school, working at pet stores, volunteering at our local zoo and Wildlife rehabilitation Centre and now working in a Pet Hospital. I even went so far as working and living on a Game Reserve in South Africa to indulge in my passion and be able to observe wildlife day in and day out . Currently, working everyday in a veterinary clinic I get to observe dogs in an environment that is stressful and foreign to them. Surrounded by strangers, scary noises and weird smells, this setting really shows their true colors, which tends to surprise most owners! And as I watch the owner and dog struggle, I am thinking the whole time, "I can teach you why your dog reacts this way, and I can educate you on how to get your dog to be calm and have amazing manners even at a vet clinic!" Veterinarians and Animal Health Technologists would really love it, if all dogs came in and could be touched, poked and not make a sound or try to bite their faces off! YOU could have that dog! I can enlighten owners and empower dogs to be able to handle any situation they face together. It breaks my heart to see owners that are at their wits end, have no idea where to start, or who to ask to help them with their little ball of fur. With the right education, commitment and perseverance we can eliminate tragic stories of dogs having to be given away or left at shelters all because of their bad manners. It doesn't have to be that way. Thanks to Brad and his amazing instructors, I now have a wealth of knowledge and the skills to help owners improve and enrich their relationship with their four legged friends!
