Method of Training
The training is based on establishing oneself as the alpha in the “pack”. Dogs are pack animals and look for leadership, if leadership is not provided they take on the alpha role without the proper skills required to lead. This is when you start to see the dog act out in ways such as chewing, pulling on the leash, nipping or showing signs of separation anxiety. Through the use of body language, little verbal communication and no treats, the Brad Pattison Certified Trainer Educator Course is set apart from any other dog trainer course in the industry.
Please note that we do not use any forms of masking such as treats, pinch collars, shock collars or anything similar. The only tools used are the Hustle Up™ Martingale collar and 6ft Leash.

Certification
Once you have graduated from the BPCTE Course you will be given the title BPCTE, which stands for Brad Pattison Certified Trainer Educator. Our organization is all about education, not just dog training, hence the ‘educator’ part in the name. Graduating as a BPCTE also means you become a part of the Brad Pattison Entertainment Corp. (BPEC) family, an organization of over 70 BPCTEs that are there to support you, back you up and help with anything you need.
You will also create a personal profile that will be posted on Brad Pattison’s website and receive referrals from the website’s e-mail ‘help’ requests. BPEC does not guarantee successful referrals.
All BPCTEs are first to be given any opportunity to work alongside the Pattison Team or apply for an open position with Hustle Up™ Training.
One is not a behaviorist upon graduating from the Brad Pattison Certified Trainer Educator Course.

Continuing Education
All BPCTEs are highly encouraged to attend a yearly conference for continued education. These conferences are advantageous as they provide the perfect opportunity to meet the rest of the BPCTE family and gain additional knowledge to help your business succeed. In the past, we have had speakers like Dr. Tiffany Lennox DVM (Calgary, AB) and Steve Gregory from Sunshine Pet Supplies (Kelowna, BC) and focused on topics from dog food and pet first aid to how to brand your business and succeed in the dog training world.
