In my four years as a Veterinary Technician and now more recently as a dog walker, I have come in contact with many clients expressing their frustration with their furry family members.  While working in a regular veterinary practice for two years I could, at most, refer these clients to our on staff dog trainer.  I had seen some of her classes, and this was enough to intrigue me into the world of canine training.

Perhaps one of the biggest driving forces for me to become a CTE was when one of my clients informed me that her dog was showing signs of aggression towards their new baby.  I felt helpless in my lack of knowledge and inability to provide her with a solution.

Now with the knowledge I have from becoming a Certified Trainer Educator, I feel confident in helping people educate themselves and their dogs to have a better relationship.

I spent the last 6 years out west working with dogs through  dogsledding,  dog daycare and my dogwalking business.

Through this i discovered my true passion of working with dogs.  During all of this i still felt like something was missing, there was another level to reach with these animals. I just couldnt figure out how to reach that next level of respect and i was tired of seeing my clients being failed by other trainers.

I moved back east last year and attended one of Brad's outdoor seminars with my border collie.  It was about 5 minutes in that i realised this is the type of training i've been looking for.  No masking or sugar coating just techniques that worked and pure results.  I was quick to discover the CTE course and have never looked back.

I am so excited to now be a CTE and have the knowledge and tools to help others understand their dogs needs and build stronger bonds and earn the respect they deserve from  their dogs through methods that work.
