Victoria, British Columbia- November 2009![]() |

No dogs were involved in this scenario, but Brad Pattison, Leslie Reid, the Dog Wrangler for the show, and her boyfriend Ryan King, were able to help local RCMP with the capture of a couple of men who were trashing parked cars. Below is a letter from the owner of Victoria Security Services: Hey Brad i just wanted to say thanks for last weekend for flagging one of our members down. We regularly patrol the area and appreciate when a citizen goes above and beyond for the community. Thank you very much. I am sure your already aware but there was a story in the times colomist today with a pictures of one of our members the police officer and your self. http://www.timescolonist.com/entertainment/movie-guide/Just+shootin+rain/2259896/story.html Not many people would be as help full as your self and friends to catch persons in the wrong. We revied some of the security tape from the area and was able to get a shot of one of the males jumping on the hood of one of the cars. It has been forward to the police. Again thank you very much.

Winnipeg, Manitoba- September 2009![]() Gerry Desjardin, Brad, Jim Slater and Rudy
|
| Through the meeting of Gerry Desjardin, who is a Canadian Ski Patrol Officer, and his dog Tee Jay, Brad was introduced to Jim Slater, owner of K9 Storm. Slater, a veteran Police K9 Handler, originally designed a vest to enable his police service dog, Olaf, to meet the demands of progressive tactical emergency response team operations and be protected. The patented design was the result of extensive research and field testing. Above pictured, is Rudy, who will be getting a custom made vest from K9 Storm. Pictures of the finished product will most definitely be posted!
