Staying active should be an important part of everyone’s weekly activities – people and dogs.  My dog and I are outside everyday – rain or shine – running, jumping over obstacles, or playing.  This came at a price; giving up the gym membership.  I had spent many years at the indoor gym before I got my doggie pal.  Once she came along, there were not enough hours in the day between work, gym and ensuring that her needs were met.  I would get up super early and walk her before heading to the gym, but  I still wanted that boot camp workout that I thought I could only get at the gym.  No one was happy as I always preferred being in the outdoors with her and she always wanted to follow me to the gym.  Finally I gave up my gym membership, and started doing my own mini outdoor boot camp.  It was great as I built a greater bond with my dog as I spent more time with her every day!

After about a year, I stumbled upon 6Legs to Fitness and I knew that this was for me.  It is the opportunity for me to assist other dog owners multi task a great workout and time with your dog.  You need to participate only one time to become hooked.  This workout is for everyone regardless of your current fitness level and the dog becomes your workout partner.  I guarantee that “Fido” will never turn you down or not show up!  Now that’s great motivation!

Come and join me in the Halifax Regional Municipality for a fantastic workout.
