I am a veterinarian and when I see clients struggling to control their
dog on a leash and some tell me they limit their pet’s walks because of
it, I recommend Brad Pattison’s ‘Street Safety Training’ program which is unique, effective and from the feedback I get, lots of fun!
Do you know how to safely cross the street with your dog? Do you know how to recall your dog only once? How about getting your dogs attention when it may be distracted? Do you know the proper way to go up and down stairs with your dog? Does your dog have patience? Do you? Do you know what sounds or actions trigger your dog? Have you ever taken your dog downtown, on public transit or how about in a hotel? Brad’s SST classes offer way more than Sit Stay Come. He exposes you and your dog to REAL LIFE situations. In Brad’s classes, you are given the tools necessary to manage your dog on lead and off. Why be confined in a small room or gymnasium when that is not the reality of our world? Brad Pattison’s Street Safety Training is powerful, unique, challenging and successful! All training is held outdoors and treats are NOT permitted. You must come with a great attitude and sarcasm is welcome! Be prepared to move! Comfy clothing is a must as well as appropriate footwear, as classes usually run an hour and a half in length and throughout the year… rain, snow or shine. The only time class is cancelled is when there is lightning or if it is colder than -15 C with the windchill according to The Weather Network. Brad does not do beginner, intermediate or advanced classes. Nor does he discriminate against breed, size or the age of a dog. All are welcome. Classes run for 8 weeks and you can join as many of the SST classes as you like within that 8 week period.
