What do I do when my dog always whines in the morning? Print E-mail
Thursday, 06 December 2007
What do I do when my dog always whines in the morning? Your dog is communicating to you, whether it is legitimate or not. You want to encourage your dog to communicate and also find out what your dog is asking for. For example, when you know it’s almost dinner-time and your dog is hungry, you can ask “Do you want dinner? Are you hungry?”.  If it is in the morning, ask your dog “Do you have to go peepies? Do you have to go poopies?”
Take note of the body language and how your dog reacts. When taking the dog out to do its business, acknowledge the dogs’ actions, repeating the same vocabulary. Ie: “Good peepies, or good poopies”. If you are consistent with this, you will be able to tell your dog to do its business.
