Here are some more tips for the upcoming holidays.

  1. Exercise the dog alot before Christmas day so the dog stays calmer and does not feel neglected.
  2. When the dog leaves the room because the noise level is to high, then take the dog to a quiet room and give the dog peace and quiet.
  3. do not put food gifts under the tree before Christmas day.
  4. Put away wrapping paper and strings and bows after gift opening.
  5. Keep chocolate away from the dog, monitor family guests and make sure they do not feed the dog human food.
  6. If your dog is not permitted on furniture the do not allow Aunts Uncles or parents to break your rules.
  7. Stand up for the rules you have set for your dog.
