For those of you who know me, I have high expectations for the people and dogs I train, the people I work with, and the way I live my life.
Before I go, I will leave you with a Holiday tip: Hopefully we all know that chocolate can be deadly for a dog. With the Christmas season upon us, we need to take extra precaution. If you have any wrapped chocolate, or any food for that matter that would be on or under the tree, please remove it. Why take the risk of your dog getting into it when you can avoid this potential danger? Should your dog ingest chocolate, you will want to induce vomiting. Get a bottle of Hydrogen Peroxide. From behind, use your legs to anchor the dog. Put one hand under the dogs jaw to open it and with your other hand take the bottle to your dogs mouth and quickly squeeze the bottle so it propels down your dogs throat. If you have a large breed, you may want to have someone assist you. You will also want to do this outside. This may sound harsh, but it can save your dogs life! That’s it for now, but I’ll be back! Cheers
